Mcc-e-Mac is a rapper, producer, and sound engineer from Mirpur who has been making music for more than a decade. Out of all the engineers we have in the Bangla hip-hop scene, Mcc-e-Mac is the man behind all the doppest-sounding records we have in the scene right now. Over the years, Mac has released so many anthems, such as “Gobhire” feat. GK, “Shopno” feat. Somrat Sij, GK, Haq and Sheikh, “Kotha Dao,” “BAUL GEET,” and more. A few months ago, Mac appeared on a podcast with Rizwan, Restive, and GK breaking down his legendary records. Yesterday the rapper/producer released his newest single, “INQUILAB,” a protest anthem featuring GK.
INQUILAB is a single by Mcc-e-Mac which was released back in 31 July 2024. The record also features vocals from GK and production from NXMERCY. This song is about Students from public and private schools, colleges, and universities are primarily leading the 2024 Bangladesh Quota Reform Movement, an anti-government protest that is still continuing strong in Bangladesh. Because of the high rates of young unemployment, students are against a thirty percent public sector job quota for family members of veterans who served in the 1971 War of Independence. After thousands of people were injured and several hundred people died in a conflict between students and police over the public service quota system, Bangladesh announced that all of its educational institutions would be permanently closed.
