MASS $COTT’s new single “BASTOB”

From Puran Dhaka, rapper and composer Mohammad Masud, best known by his stage moniker MASS $COTT, has a long history of creating music. The rapper is well-known for his chaotic trap records, psychedelic music videos, and crazy fashion drips—all of which are quite popular among the Bangla rap community. Some of the most talked-about tracks include “FREEDOM,” “NUMB” featuring Ashtro, “Bangali Shawty,” and others by Mass Scott. Masud recently released a music video in which he told the tale of a young hustler. One of the best music videos for Bangla Rap that tells a tale.

MASS $COTT’s latest video musical film, “BASTOB,” is performed and written by the artist himself. The song was produced by RAGE MODE from Wrong Side. Shojol Ahmed directed the video, which was executive produced by Ahmed Dosthogir Shaan. The story, edit, and cinematography were done by Ovi Rahman, with colorist Chinmoy Roy, production design by Mahmud Emon, and line producer Aminul Islam Abir.
